UPDATES!

Hello everyone! I just want to share some updates on what's happening with my life right now. This past few days, I was busy running errands, paying bills, and all that jazz. Hence for being MIA. And also recently, my Lola (grandmother) was admitted in the hospital, and as the nurse of the family, I had to help out and take care of her. Thank God it was nothing serious.

On the lighter note, I finally joined the AVON FAMILY! I just had my orientation a few hours ago. I was amazed when I entered the main office! It felt so homey, and accommodating. Everyone was all smiles! Well I guess with their job of recruiting and dealing with people, one has to have a pleasing personality. I don't know if I have that one. Haha! I'm so excited having to have opportunities of availing their product discounts and freebies! I've always been an AVON customer. As a student, it's very practical for me to buy my personal needs such as make-up, undergarments through AVON since I get to pay for it within a month. I can still save up for it without having to ask from my parents to pay for it. Promoting self- independence. Haha

Anyways, I will be leaving for Manila next week with my sister. I think, I wouldn't be able to update my blog then. I need to have my mini fugue with all the stress I was in the past few months! I'm so excited to reunite with my two brothers, and my cousins that I haven't seen for like two years now. By then, I'm planning to go the famous tourist spots in Manila! Exciting! :)

DINNER AT FLAMOO

Yesterday, me and my best friends Stacy and Nina went out for an early dinner date. Every now and then, we try to make it a point to see each other. You know what they say, the truest of friends are those who, despite distance, still manage to catch up with each other once in a while and talk as if time has not passed by.

We went to our usual place, FLAMOO! In all fairness, their food are delish! They have a lot of food to choose from. They have, obviously, grilled burgers, salads and pasta. If ever you visit Iligan City, you really must try Flamoo at the The Strip. The place is also great, most especially if you love eating in open areas. Too bad, I wasn't able to take pictures of the place.

We were busy catching up with each other's lives that I never had the chance to take decent photos of the place. Boo. But here it goes anyway!

BAG- A- HOLIC!

In my country where the prices of gasoline, oil, and other basic needs are skyrocketing, an average Pinoy is left with a few pesos in her pocket to buy her other needs such as clothes, bags. Thank GOD for ukay ukay that anyone can get her pair of Ralph Lauren pants, Giordano blouses, and as for me, good- quality leather bags for very cheap prices!

BAG #1

My fave among the rest of them. I love the shape, parang lunch box lang! I got this baby for only a 120. I love how it gives a vintage touch on every outfit I pair it with. Although it's too small, I can't fit all the things I usually carry. So everytime I use this baby, I only bring what I would really need for the day. It has a long strap where I can just hang it on my shoulder or use as a body sling bag.

My mom got this one from her friend who sell ukay ukay bags. I forgot how much this was, but as far as I remember it doesn't cost more than a 150 pesos. This one's very sturdy! I have this for almost 5 years now.

Lovely jewel chain used to lock the bag. Very stylish!

Messenger bag

Usually, messenger bags are used by men, but it looks very stylish and cute paired with floral dresses and a pair of oxfords! Right?? My sister bought this one for me, she knows I love ukay ukay to death. She got this for only 85 pesos only.

Functional pockets to store my pens and post its. Keeping it clean and organized.

MAKE-UP LOOK: Plum Smokey Eyes

Hey everyone! This will be my first make-up tutorial post, so please bear with me on this! I was so bored the whole afternoon because of the scheduled brownout from where I live. And so I asked my nephew's Yaya Charity to model for me. I wanted to practice myself more on doing make-up on different people, since it's very easy for me to do it on myself. Obviously, I would know every single detail on my face that needs covering and enhancing.

So here's the look:

I used the VS Bronzer to contour her nose

LIPS:

Ever Bilena Matte L/S in Scarlette and Ever Bilena Deluxe L/S Nude

I mixed both to achieve a warm coral shade.

Yaya was so happy, she felt like a celebrity daw! I had so much fun playing as her make-up artist! Hahaha I wanted to practice more on smokey looks since I find it difficult to achieve. It's always easier with the neutral looks, anyone can pull it off !

Look what I got... 24PCs make- up brush set!

I was so excited when my friend message me saying that my order has arrived! Since it's pre-ordered in Korea, my friend "warned " me that it'll take like 1 month maximum until I get my order. I got mine for only 850 pesos, same also with my sister's.

I decided to get the plain black design, because it looks like a surgeon's clutch. HAHA! Well yeah, I wanted to be a doctor someday, in five years maybe? :)

GUESS WHO'S BACK?

Hey everyone! Yes, I've been MIA for almost two weeks now.. I've been busy these past few days with my Application for Medicine, which turns out to be delayed again until next year. I don't want to elaborate on that. Depressing.

I have lots of make-up reviews lined up for you girls! That includes Revlon Photo Ready Powder and Compact, MAC Satin lipstick in Pink Nouveau, Revlon Matte lipstick in Stormy Pink! I was actually planning to do a May Haul on that, but I was just too lazy to do a post. LAZY!

During my "depression days", I did a few DIYs that I'm so excited to share. I guess me, being depressed those days turned out to be a productive two weeks after all!
