SEPTEMBER HAUL!

Instead of doing my September favorites, I decided to blog about my September haul instead.  Just a few hours ago, me and my mother and my younger sister went to our "suki", who sells 100% AUTHENTIC make-up for a much lesser price. Her name is Chedelyn. You can check their facebook page here.

These are all the items we bought.

She also sells accessories, make-up tools, nail polishes, authentic bags and sunglasses, hair colors and a lot more.

EXCEL PARIS LONGLASTING 24HRS

I didn't want to buy one of this but my sister insisted we try it for ourselves. I actually saw some korean shops selling  Excel Paris for only 25 pesos! I think they sell the fake ones. I don't know. I'm not familiar with Paris Excel. I wanted the pink one but it was out of stock, so I settled for this shade. I got this for P60. I think the original price was P90.

It looks orangey from the packaging but when I tried it on my lips, it looks red. Similar with my Ever Bilena matte lipstick in Scarlet. Maybe I'll do a review on this one soon.

NYX XTREME LIP CREAM

I've always wanted to try this one! It's similar with the Sleek Pout Paints but with different packaging. This one's way more affordable than the Sleek ones.I got it for only P250, or was it P290? I forgot. I bought the shade in Dolly Girl. I super love  the color! I'm so excited to do a review on this one soon.

MAYBELLINE NY  BABY LIPS

I love the packaging because it's different from the ones sold here in the Philippines. I got it for only P100.

REVLON LUSCIOUS GROW MASCARA

I ran out of my mascara and I waned to try a different brand aside from my usual choice which is Maybelline.  I don't know if this will be a good mascara. It claims to improve the growth of  eyelashes. I have super short and sparse lashes. I hope this baby wouldn't fall me. I got this one for only P200! I'm so happy that I got it for a very cheaper price. They sold it as such because the packaging of it was damaged according to Chedelyn's husband. I don't care how the packaging looks like, I wanted the product itself.

This is how the wand looks like.

MAYBELLINE INSTANT AGE REWIND FOUNDATION

I ran out of my usual foundation and decided to try this one for a change.I got the shade in 130 Buff Beige.

My purchase.

SISTERLY LOVE. (^^,)

Hello lovlies!

I just want to share to you what my sister sent me last month! She resides in Manila with her husband and my two adorable nephews. It's not my birthday or anything. She was just being the "thoughtful and sweet" BIG sister. :P

Nothing much, just some random accessories from I -don't- know -where shops.
My favorites are the wrap-around studded bracelets.

Kawaii hair clips :3
I'll prolly give this to my younger sister since I really am not into kawaii stuffs. Hihi

Thank you Madaaaaaaaaame! Send me make-up stuffs on the second batch, okay?? ^^.

REVIEW: SANSAN CONCEALER

For me, concealer is one of the essential make-up product that every girl must have. Although foundation can do the job of concealing flaws on the face, I still opt to using concealer before setting my face with a powder. I've used a couple of brands of concealers already.Concealers from Fashion 21, Nichido, Ever Bilena and Koshize to name a few. All did a great job on concealing my blemishes and dark circles.
The first time I heard about HBC SanSan's concealer was from Maricarljanah of Youtbe. She raved about the product so much! I've used some of Sansan's product like their liquid liners, pressed powder foundations, and blushes. But I never tried their concealers. Anyway, after watching Janah's video, I decided to try it!

I've been using it for almost 4 or 5 months now, and I believe I can do my own review about this product.

This is how the packaging looks like. The cover is made out of hard plastic which doesn't look very cheap. I actually prefer concealers with this kind of packaging. I don't like the ones that come in lids where in I have to turn the lid to open it. Tendency is I always misplace the cover. With this one, I don't have to worry about it because it is attached with the container.

Photo grabbed from askmewhats.com
It comes in three shades- Olive being the darkest shade, Beige and Natural which doesn't look natural at all. They should have named it "pale" or "light".

I picked the shade in Natural, which is the lightest shade among the three. Before I bought it, I tried the tester first. The shade doesn't look natural to me, it's actually lighter. Why did I buy it still? I purchased it because I like how I can use it not just a concealer, but will also serve as a highlighter. I planned of using it only for my dark circles and redness around my nose. When I have my bumps on my face ( during monthly period), I use a darker shade of concealer. I use Koshize from Sophie.

Ingredients:  Squalane, Boron Nitride, Euphorbia cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Titanium Dioxide, Beeswax, Ethylhexyl Methocycinnamate, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A), Ascorbyl Palmitate (Vitamin C), Phenoxyethanol, CI 77492, CI 77891, CI 77491, CI 77499

Look how it instantly brightens my eyes!

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THE SANSAN CONCEALER:
*I like that it's creamy which makes it easier to blend. For me, a very important factor with concealers.
* Contains SPF 15 and enriched with Vitamins A,C,E
* Natural shade is perfect for brightening my tired-looking eyes!
* Very affordable! You get 13g of the product for only P105.
* Available at HBC outlets

WHAT I DON'T LIKE ABOUT IT?
I only have one thing I don't like about it though, because of its creamy coverage it tends to crease in the eyes. Sometimes when I wanted my face to look dewy, I don't use a setting powder which makes my under eye circles to crease ( that streaks of product you usually see when you squint your eyes).

I'm planning of buying the Beige one and try it if it can do the job of covering my zits. Or maybe even try their matte foundations? My mind is still battling if  should try it because I do have  dry skin.
Any suggestions girls?
I would love to hear your opinion!

Have a lovely week ladies! xoxo

UPDATES!

Hellooooo lovlies!

I wish I could blog everyday for you girls, but because of my busy schedule I can't find time to do so.

What keeps me busy??  Medical Transcription!

Last August, a friend of mine called me and invited me to join the orientation for medical transcription. At first, I was hesitant to attend the program. For some reasons, I felt that I think wouldn't enjoy that kind of 'world'. And during that time, I was sooooo confused with my plans in life! I was torn between volunteering as a nurse or just  grab whatever opportunity that comes my way.

So, what is medical transcription?

An individual who performs medical transcription is known as a medical transcriptionist or an MT. An MT is also known as a Medical Language Specialist or MLS. The equipment the MT uses is called a medical transcriber. The individual who performs medical transcription should always be called a "medical transcriptionist." A medical transcriptionist is the person responsible for converting the patient's medical records into text from recorded dictation. The term transcriber describes the electronic equipment used in performing medical transcription, e.g., a cassette player with foot controls operated by the MT for report playback and transcription.

Pertinent up-to-date, confidential patient information is converted to a written text document by a medical transcriptionist (MT). This text may be printed and placed in the patient's record and/or retained only in its electronic format. Medical transcription can be performed by MTs who are employees in a hospital or who work at home as telecommuting employees for the hospital; by MTs working as telecommuting employees or independent contractors for an outsourced service that performs the work offsite under contract to a hospital, clinic, physician group or other healthcare provider; or by MTs working directly for the providers of service (doctors or their group practices) either onsite or telecommuting as employees or contractors.

So.. I decided to enroll at TESDA for the free 2-month training! Yes, for free. Number 1 reason why I decided to grab it. What I don't like about it is the schedule of classes. We had to attend classes and laboratory exercises everyday! Even during weekends! I planned about backing out before but never did... Daily allowances popped in my mind. Haha! So far, I'm enjoying myself. I met new set of friends!

Aside from that having new friends, I get to practice my typing and listening skills. Transcribing was easier for me since I'm from a medical field. Some of my friends find it hard to decipher some of the medical terms dictated from the audio. I gladly help them with some terms. It's fun yet stressful. Especially because we deal with different accents of physicians. Verrrrrrry stressful I tell you! T T

I'm excited for our culminating activity on the last week of October! It's like our "graduation ceremony"! I will definitely be posting pictures. :)))

That's it for my quick updates! Ciao bellas! xoxo

AUGUST FAVORITES!

Yeah, you read the title right. I know it's so late for me to post about my August favorites but, oh well.

Here's a quick post!

SanSan Concealer

Ever since I heard Miss MaricarlJanah of Youtube rave about this product, I had to try it myself! I use it as a highlight under my eyes and on the bridge of my nose. I bought the lightest shade, which is in Natural. I like that it's creamy and it has SPF too! Great product for a very affordable prize!

The packaging wasn't that bad either. It's very handy!

EOS Lip Balm

My favorite yummy EOS lip balm. I'm in love with the packaging! It's so cute! And it really moisturizes my dry lips. And it smells like candy too!

Hair products: Pantene Conditioner in Total Damage Care, Dove Advance Color Care Illuminizing Mist

Since I have very dry hair, and I think it REALLY is severely damaged. (I think it started when I bleached and dyed my hair early this year). I love the smell! And it did soften and smoothen my dry locks. Although i still have falling hair. I already ran out of the bottle, and I think I will be trying out another product. Tresseme maybe? :) Second hair product is Dove's Illumizing mist for color treated hair. I spray it all over with my hair still wet. I like it because it detangles my hair my unruly hair.
Eye Products: AVON Perfect Eyebrow pencil in Dark Brown, Etude House Eyebrow Kit

I use both of these products for my brow routine. But I'm planning to try the Sansan eye brow pencil in 03, which was raved by some make-up gurus in Youtube.

Hand and Body Lotions: Vaseline Total Moisture Cocoa Glow, Victoria's Secret Such A Flirt

I'm inn love with the smell! Both smells so sweet and feminine. I like the Vaseline lotion because it really smells like cocoa. And it's very hydrating to my skin.

Face:Nivea Visage Sparkling White Whitening Cleansinhg Foam

I'm actually blogging in class right now and our istructor kept warning us not to use the internet. Hence, my very short description on some products. Just comment down below if you wnat me to do reviews on some products. Ciao! :*
